Founded January 9, 2013, the mission of LiFT is to inspire and empower people with neurodiversity to learn, thrive and succeed.
Our goal is to level the playing field for individuals with learning differences and neurodiversity. We provide our learners exceptional academics, life skills, career training, and opportunities to strengthen social skills and build meaningful friendships.
LiFT has a strong culture of teamwork, collaboration, and dedication to improve the lives of others. We are driven by a desire to serve our students, our families, and our community.
We have a passion that each student comes to value and view their diversity as a gift to be celebrated.

LiFT ACADEMY
A warm, nurturing place where students of all academic levels in Kindergarten through 12th grade can excel with small classrooms, individualized accommodations and innovative teaching techniques.
LiFT Academy encourages students to reach their fullest potential with:
- Low student/teacher ratio 8:1 (Elementary School) 15:1 (Middle and High School)
- Individualized accommodations and support plans
- ABA, speech, occupational and physical therapy services able to be on-site through our professional partnerships
- Physical Education tailored to meet the needs of our students with resources from the Special Olympics
- Weekly Social Skills Class to help navigate emotions, social interactions, and behaviors
- After-school enrichment programs include Robotics, Guitar, Piano, Drums, Chess, Art, Athletics
- Field trips to extend learning beyond the classroom and provide new and unique experiences

LiFT UNIVERSITY
TRANSITION PROGRAM
Promotes Four Pillars of Success that offer students ages 18-22 a unique and highly individualized opportunity to further their education while developing the skills necessary to live their best life independently.
LiFT University encourages & prepares students to reach their fullest potential with:
- Career exploration, career preparation, and on-site vocational training
- Life skills
- Social and emotional skills
- Academic strengthening

LiFT DAY PROGRAM
The mission of LiFT Day Program is to give young adults ages 23+ with neurodiversity the tools they need to become active contributing members of the community in which they live.
Day Program students work within our microbusinesses to learn:
- Life skills
- Job and employability skills
- Social and emotional skills
- Self-awareness and advocacy

LiFT
MICROBUSINESSES
As microbusiness entrepreneurs, students learn to lead a team, complete tasks as assigned, take risks, manage time, put customers first, and use feedback to improve business practices. LiFT University Transition Program and LiFT Day Program manage the microbusinesses with the support of LiFT University Program Managers.
Day Program students work within our microbusinesses to learn:
- Life skills
- Job and employability skills
- Social and emotional skills
- Self-awareness and advocacy

family resource center
The Sandi Lynn Geller Memorial Family Resource Center boasts a community resource list of 75+ sensory-friendly doctors, dentists, therapists, social activities, and other support making it easier for families to find the assistance they need. We hold monthly advocacy support group meetings that are open to the whole community during the school year. Our outreach includes monthly blog posts and resource spotlights, a calendar with social activities and events happening in the community for the neurodiverse, and a Neurodiversity & Autism Family Resource Facebook Group where families can find support, resources, and community.
